Well, I am an Arizona transplant (about 4 years now) from San Diego, hence the Chargers blog which I also maintain through Content Quake.  Living in AZ, particularly up north, the Cardinals’ following is really great (I was surprised, actually, as to the number of loyal Cards fans up here.)  And with training camp being held in Flagstaff, we in the frigid north get the opportunity to get ‘up close and personal’ with players and coaches.

Going to the new University of Phoenix Stadium is a mere 2.5 hour drive, and we get the opportunity to frequent the games (usually during the Chargers’ bye week or when they are on a Monday night game.)

Therefore, I have essentially ‘adopted’ the Cardinals as my 2nd child (some would say my ‘less than favorite one’; however, the longer I cover them, the more I am making a place for them in my heart.)
