What a comeback….

After a horrid start and a slue of booing by the hometown crowd, the Cardinals managed to pull out a win to keep them atop the NFC West.  My ex-husband has Cardinals’ season tickets and said he’s received his postseason invoice for playoff tickets already…kind of premature, don’t ya think?!

What a fabulous showing by the Cardinals in Jacksonville!  Kurt Warner was almost perfect, throwing 24/26 for 243 yds and 2 TDs - setting an NFL completion percentage record of 92.3% (previously held by Vinny Testaverde in 1993)- before being replaced by Matt Leinart in the 4th quarter who didn’t get much of anything [...]

Preseason Musings and Notes from Flagstaff

Ultra-patient QB Kurt Warner is likely to get the start in Kansas City Saturday for week 2 of the preseason.  Particularly after sitting out the entire game vs. New Orleans last weekend, I have no doubt that he is excited.

Back in Flagstaff

The Cardinals returned to training camp following their first preseason game, a loss to New Orleans, 24-10; however, a lot of positives came from it.
THE GOOD:
WR Anquan Boldin’s hamstring is better.  He is expected to play against the Chiefs this weekend in the Cards’ 2nd preseason game.
