Cardinals 30, Falcons 24
What a game!  I have to say that I didn’t think Arizona would be able to contain Michael Turner, but they held him to a mere 42 rushing yards.  So let me be the first to apologize for doubting the defense and the heart of the team.  Granted, after wrapping up the [...]

The Buzz up Here

As the Cardinals approach their impending journey up the mountain to Flagstaff for training camp (which is all the buzz here in Flagstaff), there are 10 pressing questions (as eloquently presented by “official” Cardinals blogger Darren Urban.)
Allow me to summarize:
1.  The big QB controversy, Warner vs. Leinart (I’ll take Kurt, but Ken Whisenhunt appears to be [...]

Cardinals‘ offensive coordinator Todd Haley, who was approached by Bill Parcells’ to interview for the vacant head coaching job in Miami, has elected to stay in Arizona, and was rewarded with a nice raise.  While a head coaching job is something to which Haley does aspire, he says, “It is a tough thing to turn down. [...]

Injuries have plagued both teams, creating a less-than-expected outing for each; however, the Cardinals can still save the season (relatively speaking) and finish at .500 with a win against the Rams at home.
St. Louis leads the series 30-25-2, but the Cards have won 3 of the last 4 meetings including week 5 with a Kurt [...]

Cardinals 30, Falcons 27
For a struggling Neil Rackers, a last-second 29-yd FG to tie the game and a game-winning 31-yd one in OT was, indeed, an early Christmas present.
In addition to Rackers, both Kurt Warner and Anquan Boldin had awesome days….Warner with 361 yds, 3 TD tosses and no INTs; while Boldin had 162 yds and 2 TDs.
It was [...]

Playoff Hopes are Still Alive

Should the Cardinals win out, they will finish the season 9-7, earning their first winning season since 1998.
So, essentially, Sunday’s game in New Orleans is a playoff game.  A must win to stay alive.  Unfortunately, New Orleans has the same mentality, and the home field advantage.  But if Arizona wins, they close out the season with [...]

Coming off a short week, New Orleans hosts the struggling Cardinals this week.  Arizona suffered a disappointing loss to Seattle last week, barely keeping their postseason hopes alive.  They do remain in the wildcard chase; however, need a LOT of help.  As a matter of fact, both teams are one game out of wildcard contention behind [...]

OUCH!! Week 14 Post-Game Report - (The BIG One That Got Away)

Cardinals 21, Seahawks 42
Some obstacles are just too difficult to overcome.  The extensive injuries with which the Cardinals had to contend just proved too much of a challenge, in a heartbreaking loss to division-leader Seattle.
A banged-up Kurt Warner (man, you gotta give the guy credit!), sustaining another injury mid-game (to his knee now) would have [...]

Both Ross Kolodziej (quadricep) and Aaron Francisco (calf) have been ruled out for Sunday.  Neither participated in practice all week.
Anquan Boldin (toe) was limited on Friday, and is currently questionable for Sunday.
Jerheme Urban (heel) fluctuated between limited and full practice all week, and is also questionable.
Larry Fitzgerald (groin), with his full Friday practice has been [...]

The Cardinals need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive as they travel to Seattle in a divisional clash.
In week 2, a last-second FG by Neil Rackers won the game for Arizona, 23-20.  If Seattle wins, they clinch the NFC West.  Interestingly, last year, also week 14, Arizona beat Seattle, then denying the Seahawks [...]
